All I Do Is One (Kids All I Do Is Win Bootleg)
This edit here brings back a couple of huge tracks from 2010. Swedish House Mafia's "One" was undoubtedly the biggest house music tune of 2010, mashed together with DJ Khaled and Ludacis' "All I Do is Win" which it probably wouldn't be a stretch to say was the biggest hip hop tune of that year (or among them at least). This will illicit an instant reaction from your crowd regardless of the genre they prefer, you'll hear cheers and see their hands go up. Hope everyone's been enjoying the free tracks, there's more to come soon.

Frequency Kids - Look At Me Now (Paper Planes Segway 73-86)
Here's a solid tool for all my DJs out there, very smooth on topic transition and segway. From Chris Brown's Look At Me Now, to Paper Planes from MIA. Free download for all!

Tiesto & Steve Aoki - Tornado
2 industry heavyweights teamed up to bring us this banger, Aoki has made quite a name for himself in the electro scene and Tiesto who I feel was starting to become less relevant has made a huge comeback in the last year or two (ever since Zero 76 with Hardwell). Anyways DJs, put this track to use, the househeads will love it.

My Generation's Kurt Cobain...
Just a funny picture I found among some older files on my computer, it's good for a laugh so thought I'd share.

Drake's Take Care tops Billboard's Top 200 Album List
Just as a follow to that last post, Drake's latest album dropped last week and debuted at the number one spot selling 631,000 in it's first week. That puts it at the third best selling album debut of the year, trailing only Lady Gaga at number 1 and Lil' Wayne (an album on which Drake is heavily featured). Three singles have already emerged from the album getting their fair share of radio play. First to drop off the album was Headlines, then Proud of You (ft. Nicki Minaj), and The Motto (ft. Lil' Wayne). Check out the video for Headlines below.
Ludacris - Bada Boom (Drake & Big Sean diss track)
Ludacris recently released a diss track targeting both Big Sean and Drake. It all stems from a comment that Drake made in an interview about a year ago, stating that he's abandoned the #hashtag style of rap because too many artists have picked up on it and are using it poorly, where he quoted a line from Luda's song my chick bad (it's a parade, Macy's). Drake said, that flow should be left to rappers who know how to use it, he also credited Big Sean for making it popular again. Apparently Ludacris got butt hurt over it and it's been stewing in his brain for the past year, and this weak diss track (in my humble opinion) was the result. All the "OGs" seem to be supporting Luda on this, and feel it's a solid track. I wouldn't expect to hear a response track from either of these two, Drake's too busy with actual success to get caught up in the "kids game" as Ghostface Killah put it. The hiphop scene seems to love beef though, and have been waiting for some freh beef for quite some time. Anyway, check the newly released video (the Fifth Element inspired concept for the video was actually kind of cool) and track out below.

Hope you enjoyed the video below, now I'm feeling in the sharing spirit. Rihanna's Video for We Found Love Banned in France
This video has had its fair share of controversy, first the devout Christian owner of a farm field where one scene of the video was being filmed kindly asked Rihanna to leave when he felt things bega
n to get inappropriate (when Rihanna started to strip). More recently, the French have now pulled the video during the daytime, it can only be viewed on French television stations after 10pm, as some of the scene were deemed too "suggestive". Rihanna however remains very pleased with her efforts, tweeting "We've never done a video like this before, this is one of the deepest video I've ever done." The song itself featuring Scottish producer Calvin Harris still remains glued to the number one position on Billboard's Hot 100 chart (and several other charts globally).

Duck Sauce - Big Bad Wolf [OFFICIAL VIDEO]
Here it is folks, a big summer house tune from Duck Sauce (followup to Barbra Streisand) finally has a video... and it's a strange one. There must have been some sort of narcotics/hallucinogens involved in the creation of this one, it is entertaining though nonetheless. Check it out.

Halloween Jams
This time of the year brings about a season that has it's very own genre of music... and no I'm not talking about Christmas. Halloween has its own set of hits associated with it, though many of them are older and a little on the "cheesy" side, DJ's the world over rely on remixers to make these tracks a little more current and club friendly. Notorious for solid Halloween remixes are the Anthem Kingz of Crooklyn Clan, Danny Diggz, and The Rock-it Scientists in the past released some great halloween tracks. Be sure to check out the tracks the Frequency Kids just posted this week, at Crack4DJs

New Residency at Courthouse (Toronto)
Just wanted to fill people in on where I can be found. Most recently I picked up a new residency in the city of Toronto at a beautiful venue known as Courthouse. 25' high ceilings, original hardwood floors and four massive fireplaces set the mood and atmosphere to either lounge and relax, or dance the night away.
Any fans from the Toronto (Canada) area now have a chance to hear me play live every saturday, the club is located at 57 Adelaide Street East. Come one, come all.

Feel So Close (Right Here Right Now)
As promised, we would post a selection of our tracks on the blog for free download. So I've gone and made this track available for download on SoundCloud.
We went ahead and brought back a classic from Fatboy Slim to mash with this club banger, and also used elements of Robbie Rivera's remix, it goes hard in the club!
"Feel So Close" is a song by Scottish recording artist Calvin Harris from his upcoming third studio album. It was released as the album's second single on 19 August 2011. Harris returns to singing on this song, after previously stating he had quit singing on his own tracks.[1] The song debuted at number two in Ireland, becoming his highest-charting single in the country. In the United Kingdom, the song debuted at number two becoming Harris' sixth solo top 10 single

ROC vs Young Money
Last weekend at the club I had a hypothetical discussion with the promoter there, he asked me who I would I choose if I had to pick only one between Jay-z's camp, and Lil' Wayne's. Like I said, completely hypothetical, and it wasn't at all fueled by the "beef" between the two Carters. To be honest it's a tough call to make, giving up one or the other, no listening to them or playing them for the crowd.
If it were simply between the two bosses (Jay-z and Lil' Wayne) I'd probably choose Jigga, but it gets more complicated when you consider who is on each roster, Jay's being much larger . With ROC there's a pretty wide array of solid artists including:
Kanye West (and everyone on his Good Music label)
Beyonce
Rihanna
Big Sean (huge potential in the future)
J Cole (also massive potential)
It seems like a pretty easy choice looking at those names, but then I have to consider that I'd be giving up Drake and Nicki Minaj... which from a DJ's standpoint would take away some serious ammo (plus being from Toronto, gotta support the homie Drake).
So I pose the question, if it were up to you... who would you choose? Please feel free to leave your choice as a comment.
